Students will evaluate basic concepts of disease transmission and study designs as they learn to quantify disease progression and assess risk factors of disease. Students will gain skills in the application of data collection, data analysis, and hypothesis testing to health data as a way to support health promotion, disease prevention, and clinical decision-making.
